Turning on or turning off Remote Management
Remote management lets you remotely manage Norton
360 using Norton Management, Norton One, and
Norton Studio app. Norton Studio is a Metro App and
works only on Windows 8. When you turn on Remote
Management option, you can view your Norton 360
details and fix some security issues of your device.
By default, this feature is disabled unless you register
your Norton 360 with your Norton Account.
When the Remote Management option is turned on,
Norton 360 sends details related to your Norton
product to Norton Management, Norton One, and
Norton Studio app. When this option is turned off,
Norton 360 does not publish any of its details in the
Norton Management, Norton One, and Norton Studio
app.
By default, the Remote Management option is turned
off.
In some cases, you are prompted to enter your Norton
Account password when turning on Remote
Management option.
